We are also offering a $250 prize in Amazon gift cards to the team that best utilizes a Pearson API. This may or may not be awarded to a scholarship winner.

Pearson APIs are content APIs. If you are creating a web or mobile application and looking for content related to education, travel, food, literature, images or dictionaries check out our APIs. Simply sign up for a free account which will give you access to an API Key. You will then be able to integrate our content into your application. Visit developer.pearson.com for more information or reach out to [email protected] if you have any questions.

Disqus API Challenge

The winning team will receive a Raspberry Pi starter-kit

The Disqus API is a huge, valuable resource that has been largely untapped – until now. With over 1 million comments posted daily across thousands of active communities, you’re bound to find something interesting. The average Disqus user is commenting about their passions spanning multiple sites. Use this data to build interesting projects that go beyond superficial social data. You’ll learn about how the discussion data is bucketed and connected between communities, discussions and users, and how to navigate this network via the public API. Take advantage of contextual conversations to build smarter applications faster.
